Moving Video About the NY Zen Center for Contemplative Care

If you can spare 15 minutes, take a look at this beautiful video about the organization founded by my teachers — the Zen Center for Contemplative Care.

To Rose, the woman who allowed the filmmakers to capture her final days, three bows.

    Hi Barbara,

I watched this when you first started writing about the Center, and I just told a Buddhist practitioner friend about it last week at a reading group meeting. It is really moving, and seems to capture the spirit of what they are doing in just 10 short minutes. Amazing!

I’m feeling ridiculously fortunate to have this group based in my city (a 20 minute stroll away!). And I love that it’s open to all, Buddhist & non-Buddhist alike. I hope your friend gets to see the video!

Beautiful and touching. So glad to see you’re in such a caring community. And WALKING DISTANCE, how cool is that???
